Cleaning domestic water tanks,Overview

Clean the underground water tank pool twice a year and clean the roof water tank twice a year. If there are special needs, the number of cleanings can be increased. After cleaning, a professional cleaning unit takes water samples and sends them to an “inspection qualification agency” for testing and certification, so that the water quality meets the national sanitary drinking water standards.

Cleaning work is performed by certified professionals, and cleaning personnel must have health certificates. Personnel cleaning and disinfecting water tanks must not suffer from the “five diseases”: dysentery, typhoid fever, viral hepatitis (hepatitis A and E), active tuberculosis, purulent or exudative skin diseases, and other diseases that hinder public health.

Preparation work before cleaning the water tank (pool)

1.Cleaning personnel should prepare the required mechanical and electrical tools, cleaning tools, disinfection tools and disinfection drugs.

2.According to the cleaning schedule, report to the director of the management office for approval of the water outage time. A notice should be issued one week before cleaning to inform customers of the water outage time so that customers can prepare for water storage.

Water tank (pool) cleaning procedures

1. Close the main water inlet valve, close the connecting valve between the water tanks, open the drain valve, and drain the water in the pool and water tank.

2. Leave the drain valve in the open position, and use a blower to blow at the mouth of the pool and water tank for more than 2 hours to facilitate air circulation, eliminate toxic gases in the pool and water tank, and blow in fresh air.

3. The person in charge of cleaning recruits cleaning personnel and maintenance personnel to explain cleaning procedures, safety measures, technical requirements and safety precautions.

4. Put the burning candle into the bottom of the pool. If it does not go out, it means there is no lack of oxygen in the pool.

5. Install 36V running lights for lighting in pools and water tanks.

6. Cleaning and inspection personnel enter the pool to work.

7. The cleaning personnel scrub the hexahedral pool (box) three times horizontally and vertically, and the inspectors inspect the pipes, floats, and water level controllers of the pool (box).

8. After cleaning, drain the sewage in the pool (box), and then sprinkle bleach into the pool (box) for disinfection.

9. After half an hour, enter the pool (box) to rinse again. After the final disinfection three times, remove the sludge at the bottom of the pool and use a submersible pump to pump out the accumulated water in the pool.

10. While cleaning the pool, send someone else to check, clean and tighten the valves, and clean the filter.

11. After checking that all facilities are normal, pour water into the pool and take water samples to the municipal health and epidemic prevention testing station for testing and evidence collection.

12. Cover and lock.

Underground Water Storage

Safety Precautions

1.Use safe voltage row lights, have wires well insulated, and install leakage switches.

2.Non-slip shoes should be worn on and off the pool, and ropes should be used to transport tools and other items.

3. Do not enter the pool without first testing whether there is oxygen in the pool.

4.Disinfection personnel must wear protective glasses and masks.

Disinfection drug preparation method and application of water tank sterilizer

1、Disinfection drug preparation method (preparation of stable chlorine dioxide). Taking the disinfection of a 1.0-ton water tank as an example, it is necessary to prepare 3kg of disinfectant solution with a concentration of 200PPM; method: use a container to hold 80ml of disinfectant stock solution, add 8g of activator, shake or stir it Dissolve, turn light yellow after 5 minutes, then add 8kg of water to dilute and set aside. When in use, spray the above-mentioned diluted disinfectant solution on the inner wall of the water tank to make it moist. It can be filled with water 6 minutes after spraying.

2、How to prepare bleaching powder:

(1) Add 300 grams of bleaching powder (or 150 grams of bleaching powder) to a small amount of water to make a paste.

Then add water to 10 kg, stir evenly and cover. After settling, take the supernatant and use it.

(2) The dosage is calculated based on 200ml of supernatant per square meter.。

3、water tank sterilizer:

(1) Introduction to water tank sterilizer

Sterilization and algae removal are fast and broad-spectrum, and can eliminate all microorganisms; there is no secondary pollution, and the disinfection substances are reduced to 02 and H20 after disinfection; the disinfection is thorough and there are no dead ends in the cyclic diffusion process, which has a continuous disinfection effect; it is easy to install , no need to destroy the original pool structure, just put it into the pool; the time setting runs automatically, the working status is adjustable, and no special supervision is needed.

(2) Advantages of water tank sterilizer

It is used for sterilization and algae removal with fast speed, high efficiency and broad spectrum, and can kill all microorganisms; thorough disinfection, no dead ends, circulation and diffusion treatment, with continuous disinfection effect; easy to install, does not change the original pool structure, and circulates and diffuses inside the pool; runs automatically and works The state is adjustable; it is used without secondary pollution, and the disinfection substances are reduced to water and oxygen after disinfection; it not only disinfects water bodies, but also disinfects and removes algae from pools and pools; it is non-toxic, harmless, has no secondary pollution, and is easy to install and use. No need for special supervision.

Water tank (pool) cleaning quality standards

1、It is not a defect of the water tank itself. After cleaning, there should be no dirt on the surface and no sediment on the bottom.

2、Non-source water quality issues. After cleaning, the water quality reaches the national drinking water standards.。

3、After the water tank is cleaned, Party A and Party B shall conduct on-site acceptance of the cleaning effect of the water tank and fill in the acceptance form.

Purpose of cleaning domestic water tanks (pools)

1、The total number of bacteria and E. coli to ensure water quality refers to the national “Drinking Water Sanitation”

standard” (GB5749-85);

2、 Secondary water tanks and pools comply with the “Sanitary Standards for Secondary Water Supply Facilities” (GB17051-1997);

3、Improve water turbidity, total iron, and organic matter indicators, and improve water scaling performance;

4、Protect metal water pipelines and slow down corrosion;
